Author biography

My name is Gabriel Aznarez, I’m 49 years old, married and with four beautiful children. I had a great childhood in the countryside, near the mountains with my nine brothers.

 I went to an English School: The Christian Brothers College, an Ireland Congregation. I never was a good student: I hated studying and was always dreaming about fantastic adventures in far away planets. The teachers were always asking me to pay attention, and at that time, the way to punishment became very frequent for me. Even though I have the best memories of those times in school where I make my best friends. But I finally graduated and went to the University to study Architecture. I began to work and without noticing, reality stood forward, leaving my dreams, fantasy and child´s  soul, hidden in the deepest of my heart.

I have done a lot of thing and works: I have a business in the clothing area, worked as an architect, as a constructor,  in a casino, and manager in a little hotel called Hostería Bellavista.

I get married with my actual wife, I have four beautiful children and thanks to them, my own child´s soul, slowly managed out again. At night I used to tell them stories, where they were the protagonist and traveled all around the world and to far away planets, in all times, having incredible adventures helping people of all kinds and races from many problems. Although I have no experience, year ago, I decided to write some of those fantastic stories.To my surprise those stories became a complete novel: the story of the Andaluins, and then a saga.

Immediately a publisher: “Editorial Fin de Siglo” published the book for the Uruguayan market. A year later another publisher: “Longseller publications” this time from Argentine, published it for the Latin American market.

From then, I have written and published five more books of the saga of the Andaluins.

1.- The Chamber of Thousand caves.

2.- Rescue  from Decadunoll

3.- Voyage to the center of the sun.

4.- The blood of the chosen one.

5.- The Sacred Talismans.

6.- The reincarnation.

The saga was Awardwd in 2010 with the "Bartolomé Hidalgo Award" for best saga in Youth Literature and invited to be a vocal member in the Uruguayan Children´s Literature Academy, a part of the Southamerican Academy.

The Saga had one appointment Book: Guide for adventure.

And an  adaptation to comics for a local kids magazine.

I am now working on a book about the story of the creation of the seven dimensions universe: “The witness of time”. And going on a magic card type game called “The seven dimensions war”

Away from the saga I have written several books for children and adults.

So far, a story that promises to go further…
